FAVORITE THING ABOUT TEACHING YOGA: The beautiful connection I get to make with people before, during, and after class. We all get a little insight into each other’s life. It’s the most wonderful feeling when my message resonates and helps normalize our emotions, thoughts, and feelings. Knowing that we are not alone on this journey of life and that we are all experiencing similar things is comforting and gives me a sense of oneness with a community of amazing individuals. Also, I love being able to in some small way empower them through movement, helping them recognize their innate strength, willpower, and resilience of heart, mind, and body. Lastly, it is my great privilege to guide them on a journey where they can prove to themselves, how worthy they are of their own love and recognition. I am truly honored to be a witness to their magnificence week after week and super grateful for this opportunity.

WHAT DOES YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF LOOK LIKE? Waking up before dawn, watching the sunrise as I savor my first cup of coffee, followed by an amazing meditation experience. Then a nice hike, followed by a delicious lunch and Dragonfly Coffeeshop Cappuccino while reading a good book, ending with wine and charcuterie, and then home, ending the night with a light dinner and a movie… all this obviously with my boo except for the meditation :)
DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHING STYLE: I enjoy teaching slow-flow vinyasa with lots of messaging based on personal experiences or Yoga and Buddhist philosophy intricately intertwined throughout the class in the form of a story. Having said that I am still finding my true style, as with everything else in life, my practice and teaching of yoga is also ever-evolving and transforming.
