YOGA PHILOSOPHY OR QUOTE THAT YOU LIVE BY: “You do not have to be good. You do not have to walk on your knees for a hundred miles through the desert repenting. You only have to let the soft animal of your body love what it loves.” -Mary Oliver

FAVORITE THING ABOUT TEACHING YOGA: Guiding a space where people can sink in and listen to their bodies within a supportive community. Moving and breathing together is so important in cultivating collective joy, and carving out the time when we let our bodies speak unfiltered is an act of resistance against a chronically disembodied culture. I want to encourage people to listen to their body's innate wisdom before doing anything else. It’s a deep honor to hold that space for people from all walks of life.

SONG THAT MAKES YOU WANT TO PRACTICE: Anything with smooth vocals, crystal bowls, harps, or hang drums. One song I love is Incense by Eryka Badu.

WHAT DOES YOUR IDEAL DAY OFF LOOK LIKE? A walk in the woods followed by a long morning yoga practice. Lots of time to write, draw, read, sip tea, look out the window, and dream. Followed by a cottagecore-esque dinner party with all of my loved ones who live at the other end of the city and the sea. We all eat at one big dinner table in a wildflower meadow until the sun goes down.

DESCRIBE YOUR TEACHING STYLE: Warm but detail-oriented. Thorough but open-ended. Thoughtful, creative, and deeply earthly. Hopefully leaving you with transformed energy and like your body just became cashmere. You won’t notice you’re already dancing.
