Pranayama 101

The one thing that is with us always is our breath. However, most of us go throughout the day without an awareness of how we breathe. Many of us do know the power of taking a simple deep breath - it is immediately calming and centering. When we start to cultivate the practice of intentional breath control and spend time each day connecting to our breath, we embark down the road to deepen the connection of our life force. It has been said that we can go weeks without food, days without water, but hardly even minutes without our breath. Together let's explore the vast knowledge, ancient practices and contemporary science behind one of our most vital daily functions.
