Most of us begin our yoga journey working with the physical body, familiarizing ourselves with the physical anatomy and the poses themselves. As our practice evolves, we are invited into a relationship with the emotional aspects the practice.
Just as yoga offers us the opportunity to heal physically, creating strength and mobility where we once were fragile and stiff, the practice can also help us experience healing in the emotional layers of our beings. In this weekend intensive, learn to utilize the practice to gain deeper insight into how the emotional layers and the physical body are linked together. Instead of turning away from what we feel, lean in and listen.
Join Jill as she guides you into deep inquiry, helping you become aware of how unprocessed emotions are stored within and how to heal from the inside out. This workshop will include: body meditation that teaches how to listen and decode to your body's messages; tools for emotional regulation and self-care on and off the mat; asana focused sessions to target key areas for physical and emotional unlocking: the psoas, the hips/low back, the shoulders and the heart; self-reflection and inquiry.
This workshop is open to all students and counts toward continuing education credit for certified yoga instructors. The cost is $395 for 30 hours.
