In this interactive 4- week series, we will demystify everything Yoga! Together we will set a foundation with confidence, clarifying the basic shapes while coordinating your breath to movement. Back to Basics = the start to a long, healthy yoga practice and an empowered life!
Start at the beginning: learn the basic philosophy and history of this ancient practice
It's all about breath: use your breathing muscles to discover rich, rhythmic, nourishing breaths.
Break it down: posture by postures, learn proper alignment and how to flow between poses
Saturdays from 9:45 - 10:45am. This 60-minute workshop will allow for questions and conversation.
Dates: 4/21, 4/28, 5/5, 5/12
Week 1 - The Breath. Integrating the Spine. Sun Salutations A & B.
Week 2 - The Warriors & Standing Poses. Open vs. Closed Hip Postures.
Week 3 - Balancing Poses & Twists. History & Philosophy. How To Use Props.
Week 4 - Backbends. Reclined Postures. Restorative Poses.
We are offering early bird pricing through 4/8: $44 for all four weeks. On April 9th, the cost will be $52. Please use the registration link below to claim your spot.
