Yoga Philosophy: Yoga brings us home to ourselves and supports us in the path of healing we are all on. It creates safety, community, and opportunity for growth and connection in ourselves, as well as with others. I so appreciate that modern day science and psychology have caught up with ancient philosophy, and we are finally understanding and tapping into the power of integrating mind, body and soul.
My two favorite quotes: “Dwell in Possibility” and “Be the Change you Wish to See in the World” come thorough in my teaching as I integrate current science on nervous system regulation, with yogic philosophy, and slow powerful asana to engage your mind, body, and soul in a way you can integrate into daily life.
A song that makes you want to dance: " I Lived" by One Republic is my theme song. “Kiss" by Prince has made me shake my groove thang since I saw the Purple rain tour…but almost any music makes me move. I cant help myself but wiggle…I feel music in my bones :)
Favorite Oregon region: I love the beach and feel called to the edge…feeling the power, and healing energy of the ocean. It is my refuge.
